The EPA’s landmark Superfund program is supposed to clean up the country’s hazardous waste. 
But it’s creating unintended, and potentially worse, environmental consequences.
Our new investigation with Guardian US tracked waste from one of those sites in Silicon Valley. This GIF demonstrates its long and complicated path with no clear end.
