The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on Lake St. Clair, Harrison Township, Michigan. This safety zone is intended to restrict vessels from a portion of Lake St. Clair during the Coughlin Wedding Fireworks.
The brave men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard have a lot of responsibilities. Among them, plucking victims from raging flood waters, answering earthquakes in the Caribbean, overseeing the cleanup of massive oil spills and, apparently, establishing a “safety zone” when your ambitious wedding plans get out of hand. This particular notice appeared today in the Federal Register.  (via ageofperil)
